Aquanex maintains a firm commitment to the prevention of occupational risks and the safety and health of all its human resources. For this reason and under the slogan, #SafetyAlways, the company held throughout the month of April the World Month of Occupational Health and Safety, in order to highlight the work done in this area and promote awareness of the entire template.

One of the outstanding actions has been the award of the II Ideas Contest in the field of Aquanex PRL. The winner of this second edition was the worker Moisés Fernández Fernández for the initiative 'Work safe, work happy'. This is an APP aimed at workers through which you could consult and remember preventive measures when doing work in ditches, heights, confined spaces or other tasks such as those related to signaling. During the event, Moisés Fernández explained his proposal to managers, foremen and managers and also launched the third edition of the AquaL PRL ideas competition.

Another of the most relevant and sustained initiatives over time is the Hebe Project, a program of 'active aging' for people over 55 years of age that includes, among other actions, the practice of preheating exercises before the start of work. The objective in addition to raising awareness in healthy habits, is to reduce the number of accidents where one of the main causes is overexertion. Several practices have been carried out in Jerez de los Caballeros, Don Benito, Trujillo and Coria.

In addition, awareness talks have been held in various offices and facilities of Aquanex, during which they have reviewed the key ideas in terms of prevention, road safety and communication of incidents, among others, and have boosted the return of experiences . Mérida, Talayuela, Valencia de Alcántara, Alburquerque, Villanueva de la Serena, Coria, Hervas, the Plasencia treatment plant or the Guadalmar drinking water treatment station are some of the locations where the talks have taken place.
