As a result of this action, in which over 17,000 euros were invested by the Municipal Association, the leakage that occurred through the tanks' structure has been eliminated.

Aquanex, the concessionary company responsible for the wholesale water supply service, has completed the waterproofing of the two tanks of the Lácara Los Baldíos Municipal Association. These tanks collect water from the Municipal Association's drinking water treatment plant, to supply a population of over 6,000 inhabitants in the municipalities of La Roca de la Sierra, Puebla de Obando, Carmonita, La Nava de Santiago, and Cordobilla de Lácara.

Due to this action, in which the Municipal Association invested over 17,000 euros, leakage that occurred through the structure of the tanks has been eliminated. This saves water and benefits the entire population that is supplied.

The works consisted of fixing a sheet of PVC on the over 700-m² surface area that surrounds the inner perimeter, as well as other actions to improve the floor and the inflow and outflow pipes and valves. With this action, the waterproofing of the tank is ensured and any potential leaks are eliminated.
