Aquanex invites you to celebrate World Water Day. This date is commemorated annually on March 22 since the Organization of the United Nations established it, with the purpose of vindicating the need to guarantee universal access to this limited resource and promote sustainable management of it.

'Do not leave anyone behind' is the official slogan of 2019, the year in which Aquanex wants to promote the smart consumption of tap water, which is the most controlled water in the world according to current regulations, in addition to producing countless benefits for our health. Therefore, we have prepared a series of events on March 21 and 22 and we want you to join us.

The celebrations will start in Don Benito on Thursday, March 21 at 10.00 in the plaza del Santo Ángel in the town, the nerve center of the activities. The City Council of Don Benito and Aquanex will promote at street level the environmental, social and health benefits of drinking tap water. There will be distributed explanatory leaflets and glass bottles to raise awareness of the negative impact of plastics on the environment. These bottles will carry the logo of the campaign 'Water, best of the tap', whose design has been the result of a drawing contest that students from 9 to 12 years old have participated in the educational centers of the town.

Later, at 10.30 the mayor of Don Benito, José Luis Quintana, and the General Director of Aquanex, José Luis Billón, will present the prize of the contest to the winner and author of the drawing that will receive a Tablet and a commemorative diploma. The culmination of the day in Don Benito will arrive around 11.00 with the musical show 'Aquafonía'. Pau Elías, expert in music education and language pedagogy, will give a concert creating melodies from glass bottles. The goal, introduce all those who want to approach the square in the melodies produced by the water.

On Friday, March 22, the appointment will be in the municipalities of Villanueva and Trujillo. From Aquanex we invite your neighbors to participate in the water tastings we have prepared and to become experts in the subject, learning to distinguish all the characteristics of the liquid element.
